I know the couple that had the baby in a cabin in Wisconsin... and not-on-the-show my cousins wife had her third child not even knowing she was in pregnant until she went to the ER for severe stomach pain and turned out she was in labor. (Just before anyone asks how, she was breastfeeding and caught the first egg... thought baby kicks were phantom kicks we all get and was trying to lose weight "but just couldnt" when in reality she was gaining baby while losing fat... she did it healthily though so the baby was perfectly fine!)

I saw this the other day. Or one in the same shows on TLC.
One lady had her baby in a toilet!

I understand some people not knowing for medical/time of life/physical reasons, but I've got to say it'd be PRETTY HARD for me not to notice!

I could never be pregnant and NOT know. I knew before af was due with all 3 pregnancies!

I mean I am obsessing on every little symptom ??? I am planning on watching it tonite so maybe I can understand it more

With my son I woke up one morning feeling like I was going to hurl and knew right there. Bought a test that night and sure enough, pregnant.

Do these women have no first trimester misery or how does this work exactly? Not to mention growing that baby belly feels nothing like getting a fat belly (I know, I've had both)! Hm. I simply don't understand how someone could be that out of tune with her own body.

Lots of ways, being on birth control pills and thinking no period is normal... (she used an antibiotic... rendering the birth control useless) or catching first post partum egg while breastfeeding (like my cousin)

the other ladies have interesting ways too. Basically, by not trying to conceive this is very possible.

Yeah, but physical factors ESPECIALLY toward the end!

I could see how a large woman wouldn't be able to tell with your factors listed combined with her body...

I know someone who knew she was pregnant but didn't tell anyone until the end--right up until she delivered we couldn't tell primarily because her initial size/shape did not change.....:

I guess some women dont get as big as some....but you would think going up even a dress size or so??? I know on the commerical for the show one woman said she got a little belly but didnt think anything about it.....I would freak I weight myself everyday!!!!

and she went to prison for what she did after :/

she's actually the sister of the cousin whos wife just plain didn't know (but i no longer consider HER a relative)


but in a first-time pregnancy if you don't know you're pregnant the end symptoms can completely confuse you... any symptom can really.

If you're even slightly larger, or carry right full term you could jsut think you're bloated (and man, that constipation doesnt hurt that theory anye!)

That happened to a friend of my DH's family up in Alaska. I read it in the newsletter the friend's family sent out. So weird. Can you imagine the shock?

I turned it on to check it out and there was a commercial to visit Michigan.

It almost made me cry! lol... dbf and i are planning on visiting Michigan when he comes home next month.

Oh geez... I can't believe I watched that show. I should have been sleeping instead since DS and DH were sleeping. But... it was like a train wreck and I just couldn't look away.

I can see how these women didn't know. They didn't gain weight (or only gained 10 lbs), they were still getting periods (or what they thought were periods), getting BFNs... and at least in the scenerios I saw, they gave birth about 2 months early -- and I've seen many pregnant women who don't pop until after 7 months. Well, not many... but a few.

I could barely stand watching the show, though, being so worried about those babies. But I guess they were only showing happy endings.

By the way, I saw the one with the woman who had the heart condition. I couldn't BELIEVE her boyfriend didn't go to the hospital with her. WTF? So she ended up passed out on their lawn for who knows how long while doofus was just sleeping soundly in bed and waiting for her to call him when she arrived at the hospital? W...T....F???? I also can't BELIEVE I got so sucked into this show that I got mad at the bf for not going to the hospital with her.

OK... I gotta go to bed.

Ok, this show is CRAZY!!!! Dh and I cant understand it and its probably because of this...http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e2...h/kdk_0059.jpg. Its ME!!! Im a large girl (size 16-18 normally) and Ive only gained NINE pounds and Im 39 weeks now.
DH and I laugh, I cant imagine not knowing!!!
