Stranger Danger Video/Book Recommendations

Thread Starter
I am looking for a video that my kids can watch about "Stranger Danger". There have been a couple of incidents in a nearby neighborhood lately of men in cars pulling up next to kids, showing them a fake PD badge and telling them to get in. DS1 is 9 y/o has mild autism and although we've gone over it and over it I don't think he understands how to be smart about strangers. He learns well from videos and books.

Any recommendations on videos or books for kids???? TIA.

There is a great book YOU can read called "Protecting the Gift." http://www.amazon.com/Protecting-Gif...0371140&sr=8-1

It's a great book and you should indeed read it, but also just wanted to warn you that there are some stomach-churning incidents in there. Most people can probably handle them but if you are very sensitive, be prepared. Again, it's worth getting through for most people but if you are easily traumatized, perhaps have your partner or someone close to you read it first.
