Bottom line: The US childhood vaccine schedule is a black hole, a mystery potentially fraught with unquantifiable problems. The difficulty in initiating a pragmatic response to this real public health problem (where the alternative may be a catastrophic loss of public confidence) derives from three principal sources: extraordinary biological complexity of living systems and disease, the lack of understanding of the details of all of the components of the human immune system and their interactions, and a simplistic mindset wherein belief in the proclaimed merits of mass vaccination trumps the need for rational debate. As “informed consent” to parents who are considering the pros and cons of vaccinating a child, Brown’s document—one endorsed by the Immunization Action Coalition—is woefully inadequate. It is little wonder that many parents are skeptical of the advice they receive with respect to vaccine safety; and, frankly, they deserve better

The film certainly does put some things in perseptive - like not one parent complaining to the GMC, and the weird twist where Deer says that he fulfilled his public duty by coming to the GMC's aid at their request, when it in fact he requested to bring this case before them. And that there were very real and very sad reasons why these parents needed help. A new meaning was brought to why the parents support these doctors and what a horrific crime is being commited against these children.

For me, it seems that as soon as a vaccine enters a public debate, you could be excused for thinking both sides were talking about completley different issues not related to each other. It was very alarming to hear John Deer tell a mother her child did not have a bowel illness, just diarrhoea, after looking at a picture of her son with a colostomy. :

Thank you for posting this video. It gives the parents a voice that is completely ignored by the GMC and mass media. It shows the absurdity of all this. I've seen bits and pieces, but not all of it put together like this. I'm going to create a new thread for the video, so it may get more attention and discussion. I hope you don't mind.
