Annoyed with family, friends, co-workers? - Page 3

add to list of people who annoy me. 14 year-old boy who I home school who just spent 20 minutes lying straight to my face about a homework assignment he didn't do...

Guess its good practice for my own kid, I was really proud that I didn't completely lose it, so yay for me I guess.

So I've been fighting with our disability dept. at work, over whether they should pay me for disability or unpaid leave for personal leave.

I call the case manager this morning to see what she found from my dr. She tells me that she hasn't spoken with them since last week. So I get angry and call my dr's office and leave a message for the nurses.

They call me back. They talked to the case manager at 3:28 pm yesterday. BOTH nurses were together when they called. Case manager is a liar liar pants on fire. So now *I* am mad, and the nurse is annoyed. She is going to call her back again.

I left a message for the case manager telling her I don't think the run-around they are giving me is fair and the stress they are putting me through is causing me to be needless stress and anxiety and she should be a bit more thorough with her notes and cases.

I need a nap.

Someone told me the that my weight is all baby, and I'll be fine when I have the baby. I told them I hope to god my baby doesn't weigh anywhere near 40 lbs.

I'm all belly, butt and thighs.

Tell them you're perfectly "FINE" the way you are...even if all the baby weight doesn't go away!!

Oh, I know--I'm right with you there. All bets are off when the baby actually arrives, but for now, it looks fine. At least we're all heading into summertime when HOPEFULLY we can get outside and help work off the "baby fat" a little more easily!

People that tell me I can't do it without the drugs and I don't know how it feels without the drugs currently top my list. I've got news for them, if they had the drugs they don't know how it feels without them either. It's a personal choice I've made and I don't really care to hear the preaching of every other random person I meet.

My mom-in-law is taking a close second though for spending a week here that was supposed to be spent helping me during which she mostly sat in my glider and watched TV and told me she would do things that I assumed she had and I'm finding none of it is. She actually hid the thank you notes she told me she took to the post office and mailed rather than going out and doing it. They were stuck under a pile of towels in the bathroom cabinet. I don't get it....

My best friend has tried the epidural at 2 diff hospitals..Neither one has worked. So She went through the hassle of getting one for nothing. Why bother, right?

I'm sorry your MIL is being such a pain. This is why I do things myself. No one understands that.

I prefer to do things myself for that very reason, but I've been stuck on bed rest, which I think has to be the single most irritating thing possible, especially when nesting kicks in.

I didn't realize you were on bedrest! That has to be annoying, especially when things aren't getting done.

I've got the official nesting bug myself..Rearranged my kitchen cabinets yesterday. They are now awesome!

You guys are saving me, tonight. I'm dropping in from the June DDC but my EDD is actually May 30th. I've been getting that "you're all baby!", too, which makes no sense... I think, "Have you SEEN the rest of me, like maybe my BEHIND?" I've gained 35-40 pounds here at 34 weeks, and a whole lot of it has gone to my ass and thighs. (DH and I call it the counter-balance-- it keeps me from tipping forward.) I guess when you're 8 months pregnant, though, people just see the belly and nothing else!

Can I add mine???

My boss is driving mad. Last week she asked me to stay one more week She got a very clear NO from me. I am already working until 38 weeks! isn't enough???

And then today she asked me to install her new phone and wireless headset. This means crouching under a desk. Yeah right! I am going to do that with my 36 weeks pregnant belly! I have trouble just bending to reach the power button on my computer. The worse is that she asked why when I said no to this request too. :

Feels better when I vent it out. Thanks!

Oy, what a clueless boss! Mine goes the other way-- I can't bend over or reach for anything without her thinking that it's somehow going to trigger early labor! I mean things like picking up a scrap of paper off the floor to throw it away. I've mentioned that nobody has ever gone into labor because they bent over, but it doesn't seem to have an effect. Also, her reasoning is kinda selfish: "Don't be doing that, I need you here for another month!"

I just lost it with my older 2 boys. The 10 year old was obviously sneaking something. He refused to tell me what. I got distracted by his 4 yo brother whining about wanting to go over to the neighbors house. When I went to look for the 10 yo, he was hiding in the van in the garage. Eating gummy worms that he knows are a treat for later. Yeah, no more for him!
The 4 yo continues to whine about going over to the neighbors. Umm, they said no, 'k?! I have told him no 20 times at least. I HATE WHINING!!!!
Now the toddler is whining too. May as well since everyone else in the house has lost it.
All I want is to take a shower, but dh is out working on the fence at the old house and who knows if he will be home in time for me to shower before we have to leave. Grrrrrr
Beware the pregnant b!tch today.
