Are you looking for a book with patterns or just inspiration? I look at whenever I go to the bookstore, but I can't say it's one I'd purchase. If you want a book w/patterns I might try the Built by Wendy ones.

thanks...which one would you recommend?

Tell me a bit more about what you want to do? Do you want to sew just for yourself? Are you a beginner or experienced? I might recommend you just getting a burda or ottobre womans if you have some sewing experience.

i am looking to make lots of clothing for myself (aren't i ambitious!)....i have looked at the built by wendy books and wondered if the one with the three basic patterns would work for me? i do have sewing experience...in fact i am planning on making bbw pants in september (1 year post partum birthday present for me):http://www.builtbywendy.com/onlinesh...ategory_id=296
sadly our library has neither the chanin or bbw books but i have several on order there.
so....what do you think for the bbw books?
