How do you use Vaers??? Not reporting but searching. Help?

Hi, I am embarrassed to say that I haven't been able to figure out how to search for things. What am I missing?

fill in some fields--here is a simple example--

I chose HPV4 in the drop-down list for vaccines and typed Merck in for the manufacturer. Then I clicked on the find button.

I get 11090 events. Now I want to find out how many show deaths.

I go over to the left-hand column and choose the drop down box next to Died? and pick Yes. Hit find again and the result is 34.

What are you trying to find out? It can be tricky identifying the correct vaccine, for example.

For starters, put in just one factor of what you are interested in and do a search. Then put in two factors and do the search. Keep adding the factors one at a time and you'll eventually find out which one is eliminating the results.
