I went for my 36w appt. yesterday and am so happy that I finally found a midwife that I like so much! There are 6 of them and it has taken me until now to finally find one who meshes well with me and wants what I want for the birth.
Anyway, midwife said that baby was way far down but didn't say what station or use the word engaged or anything, so I am not quite sure what that means. I am measuring 38cms and she said she thinks he will be a good size baby. She feels comfortable with me staying home if my water were to break and everything were fine for 4-6hrs which I am very happy about. Usually since I am delivering in a hospital they have a very strict policy to come right away. I am GBS negative. Blood pressure has been perfect. Everything is looking good! She told me to go home and have lots of sex, EPO, and whatever else I wanted. haha I haven't gained any weight in the last 3 visits and had actually lost 1lb before that. I am larger anyway, so they aren't worried. I have that is normal towards the end anyway.
