Sewing machine ? quilting ?

I have a much older Sears Kenmore cabinet machine, model 1801.
It is an awsome machine!

So, I want to actually quilt our wedding quilt, (the top has been done for over two years, and was displayed at our wedding) and I need some advise.
It is King size, and I will be backing it with flannel.

I need to know where I can find one of those spring needles for free hand sewing/quilting that will work on this machine.

Plus, do you think I can manage that size quilt in that machine?
I plan to have extra tables set around the cabinet so that the quilt is not dragging all over the floor.

I'm sure if you get it rolled up good and tight you can manage. I did a queen on a bernina 807 and I worked from the middle out and managed to get it done with no problem.
