It did come out on dvd on Tuesday. I guess this is some sort of teaser or reward for being loyal to BSG.

It does have some graphic scenes, so beware.

DH says that Sci-Fi will air it once the series starts, some time in 2010 - UGH! (And minus the graphic stuff, of course.)

My husband has compared it to Episode 1 of Star Wars. You are getting the backstory that no one knows.

I got it from Netflix. I'm not entirely sure what I thought of it. I loved BSG, and I hope the Caprica series is a little better than this movie. It wasn't horrible, but I guess i expected more.

Well! We finally watched it last night. That was intriguing. Dh certainly enjoyed the nekkid gals.

The boy William Adama is Admiral Bill, the Old Man, right?

I loved learning about the society of Capricans and Taurans. Zoe's personality was the key to getting the cylon to finally work. That was amazing.

There's something intriguing going on with the Athena school headmistress. I want to know more about the one-god movement.

I didn't like any of the characters, except Joseph Adama, and I thought the atmosphere was a little grim. As a entertainment it isn't near as fun as BSG but that was still great information.

=============

Ha! Felix Gaeta is on last week's Smallville. We're watching it right now.
