ideas for DH to do with the kids for mom's day?

anyone have any ideas for easy, but fun stuff DH can do with the kids (2 and 6) for them to give me for mother's day? i love stuff that will remind me of how quirky and cute they are in the future.

What about planting something for you in the yard? A mothers day garden. DH could take the kids out to plant it and you get some time for you?

We did a thing for dh last year that was really fun, easy, and cheap.

Have the kids trace their hand on a canvas (or help them do so if they are too little) and write their name next to the hand. Then the parent uses a black permanent marker to go over the pencil tracing and name. Then give the kids water colors to color in their hand. You can spray with sealant when done to protect them or frame them.

Painted rocks! Lots of fun to go hunt for them outside, and they last forever.

We are making stepping stones this year. We're doing footprints in them and adding the mother's day date, their names, and pretty stones.

i got two of these kits today... they look like so much fun. i have wanted the kids to do them for a while now. i didn't have a coupon, but they were on sale! YAY. i can't wait to see them in my garden.
