Faith's direct bilirubin is 2.0 this week! That is the level it has to be at for us to go home! Her doctor is out of town, but we will see him next week and make long-term plans then! The Omegaven worked!!!!

I am so so so happy to read this. I have checked in here at least weekly for an update from you! I kind of felt guilty that my DD came home so quickly when you guys were still struggling...
AGain so happy thart Faith is coming home!

No need to feel guilty, I'm always happy for the ones who have it easy! (And honestly I expect pretty much everyone else who has gastro babies to have it easier than we have, since about 90% do...) We'll still have a couple of years probably until she is really "normal", still doing TPN, Omegaven, and tube feeds, but just knowing that it's still possible that she will be eventually will help us keep going.

Thanks We'll be home by mid-May! Her numbers are even better this week, not quite "normal", but the last time they were this low was the first week in December! :
