So I love cocoa butter and decided to order some. What I got was a hard lump of cocoa butter. I suppose thats how its suppose to be, but my question is, how do I make it workable? Do I melt it down and mix it with something? Or is something wrong with what I received? TIA!

yep, that's cocoa butter! hard as a rock! what you can do is chip it up into chunks...i use a clean screw driver.

you can make a whipped butter.

since CB is so hard, i would us a ratio of 60% CB and 40% liquid oils of your choice. melt it all and then as it cools you can whip it up. CB takes quite awhile to resolidify, so do freak if it isn't setting up right away. what i would do is stick it in the freezer and every 15 min or so take it out and whip it for a min or so then stick it back in the freezer. do this until it is your desired consistancy.

HTH!!
