My cousin and I just had a talk about the flu shot and she says her husbands job requires he get it every year. I asked her why. He is the security guard at a facility that houses a lot of AIDS patients and they said if he gets the flu he might infect one of the residents. I found it odd that a job consider a shot "mandatory" and wondered if anyone has ever heard of this before.

Thanks. This mandatory vaccine bull you know what is really getting out of hand. My friend Cris jokes that she won't get the flu shot because she finds it suspect that almost anyone can administer it. Her quote, "everywhere i've been they're advertising for the freaking flu shot- cvs, my job, little trucks on the street. pretty soon i can get the flu shot at mcdondald's."
