Can I get a WOOT! WOOT!? (more good news!)

I JUST got a call from my midwife who finally got hold of the ob back up. They've apparently had a lot of births the last two days.

I am officially "normal", no more "high risk", no more NST's or AFI's for fluid! NO MORRRRREEEEE!

I do have to schedule a growth scan just to make sure he's on track since he had dropped to 17%'ile at the last u/s, but other than that, all I have to do is my weekly prenatals!

:::::::::: :::

I cannot tell you how good that feels! From going to totally "normal pregnancy" to "very high risk" to "normal pregnancy". *content sigh*

I said that's great, I'm THRILLED, but dangit, I still don't want to go two weeks overdue! I'll take it over the other, though!

Thank you guys for supporting me through all of my crying and whining and chaos.

Forgot to say that I didn't remember until after I hung up about the BP issue today. I really do think it was due to dehydration since ater laying down and drinking a big thing of gatoraide, it was way better. I know they'll still keep an eye on that at my prenatals and that it may effect my "normal pregnancy" status, but right now I'm going to stay on my cloud 9 for a bit.

Good. Here are some random notes I saved a while back on bp since I'm paranoid mine will shoot up:

In my state a rise of 30 systolic [top number]and/or a rise in diastolic [bottom number] of 30/15 on 2 occasions is an indication for a consult. Of course, I start on 125 g of protein and 2000 mg of Calcium/Magnesium and 3 qts h2o- probably the same as you- after the 1st high bp. I've only had one mom not respond, so the second bp is usually back to normal.

* juice of half a lemon or lime plus two teaspoons of cream of tartar in on half cup water taken once a day for three days. Can repeat dose after a two day rest.

This is my midwife's recipe for lowering blood pressure
- raw garlic, 2 times per day
- 500 vitamin c daily
- increase calcium: 2000 mg/day
- increase folic acid - 800 mg
- rest on left side 2 times per day - 1 hr each
- Hot foot baths, Epsom salt baths
- increase protein
- 10-12 glasses of water per day
- salt food to taste

For edema - dandilion capsules 1/day

Also - from other reading I've sone: scullcap tea; lavendar oil (especially if given during a relaxation massage); decrease carbs
