At least one of the previous swine flu episodes was man made. I don't have my book with me right now to give all the specifics.
Also the yahoo article says only 20 confirmed deaths.
And how about this?
Quote:
| Now, even detaining the ill may not keep the strain — a combination of swine, bird and human influenza that people may have no natural immunity to — from spreading, epidemiologists say. |
This is highly unlikely to occur naturally in the wild.
People don't have natural immunity to a virus. Why else would people get the regular flu more than once? why would we get a cold over and over every year?
And how about this?

| Early detection and treatment are key to stopping any outbreak. WHO guidance calls for isolating the sick and blanketing everyone around them with anti-viral drugs such as Tamiflu. |
That is going to line some peoples pockets.

I don't think we should ignore new diseases or try to use preventative measures for it spreading. But the thought of them having "stock" ready to make the vaccines. Then they go on to say that it would take "months" to have one ready. MONTHS? Thats it??!! And you want to inject that crap into everyone? After a few months? Sorry but I seriously feel sick to my stomach.
