How TF is helping our family

My dad has a very rare liver/bile duct disease, that causes celiacs, lactose intolerence, IBS, osteo. and ulcerative colitis.
The bile duct essentially dies, causing the liver to begin to die.
My suspicion is that Celiacs is the root cause of the whole thing, but of course, one cannot confirm this medically
He is considered to be close to being put on the liver transplant list.
However.......
So far, through TF foods and tonics, he no longer has the UC and IBS, and the last check with the dr, was told they do not need to see him for at least 6 months, because his enzyme levels stopped climbing!!!!!!!
We are praying that next time, they will have dropped, even though he is considered uncurable!

A friend of ours had the very beginning stages of this same disease, and she drank beet kvass for awhile, but mainly stuck with kombucha, and and everyone was shocked to find that her liver enzymes, which were topping 500, had dropped back to the normal numbers of 45-50. All in about 6 months.

PaulaJoAnne,
Can you tell me the name if the disease, please? My dad's side of the family has a history of weird bile duct/liver/gallbladder issues and I suspect celiac also. I would like to look into it more. Thanks.

He has Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis.
Gluten allergies seem to be at the root of all the forms this type of disease takes, hence the reason I am thankful I have found my intolerence to gluten, and have left behind all those types of grains.

You are welcome to pick my mothers brain as well, if you would like. She is a walking book when it comes to this disease.
You can contact her through her blog if you would like.

Sounds just like my brother. He was very sick for quite some time, put on the transplant list, they wanted to do another surgery but he decided to see what he could do with diet. It's been phenomenal!

That is very cool! So uplifting to read! Plus the part about the woman whose liver enzyme levels regulated with kombucha. I have a friend with out of control levels and I just emailed her.

Now I need to learn how to make that for her And us
