Mountain Green Fabric Softener?

Has anyone used Mountain Green fabric softener or dryer sheets in their laundry? My husband wants to keep using a fabric softener and I have concerns about using a fabric softener either in the wash in our HE front loader or in the dryer because of possible residue. However, the Mountain Green site (linky says that their softeners do not impact absorbency.

Does anyone have personal experience with this brand?

I would refrain from using any fabric softener in diapers.
It coats the diapers and impacts the absorbency.

I have found that by using a moderate amount of more natural detergents on our clothes, we didn't need fabric softener at all.

We have two nearly full bottles of the 7th Generation HE Free & Clear detergent that we will use up for our own clothes and then we will just get the Mountain Green by mail for our laundry. I emailed the owner of Pinstripes and Polka Dots and she recommended we try wool dryer balls for softness in the dryer. I will definitely be looking into that!

Yes, with 7th generation we didn't need fabric softener. Actually, once we stopped using detergents with optical brighteners, that's when we stopped needing softener. 7th gen is fine to use on your clothes, but for diapers, it has enzymes, which may irritate your baby's skin.
