Is there a natural washable fiber that I can use for stuffing amigurumi?

Kapok is natural, if you can find it. Wool, cotton fibres, scraps of old material...improvise. Especially with amigurumi, a little solidity can be good.

I started saving all the little bits of yarn I end up with, hoping to use them for stuffing at some point. I've also used cotton washcloths.

Is the bamboo batting washable? My joanne didn't have it so I bought a pillow form instead, but the batting ruined in the wash and I had to restuff my bear!

yes it is... it acts about the same as cotton batting but it has the antimold/bacterial properties.
