Jumping right in!

Hi everyone!

It's really early for me, haven't even hit 4 weeks yet!! But I got a BFP on 10DPO so am jumping right in!

My estimated due date is Jan. 5, 2010.

My DP and I are THRILLED but also a bit scared as I had 2 m/c and 1 chemical last year. I hope I can stay calm and enjoy being pregnant. I'm already on alert with every little cramp. Which I know is normal but still makes me a bit on edge. I started acupuncture treatments about 2.5 months ago and hope to continue with the treatments throughout my pregnancy if required.

Happy to be here!!!

This is me as well. I am only - at the least 8DPO! lol...But have gotten a few super fainties! EED the 9th Jan (based on ovulation)...Of course I am also cautious as I have had 2 m/c and a chemical last year as well. I felt good at the beginning of this cycle though and am feeling good about it down. I can't wait for a super dark line though/and/or a digital confirmation! hehe
You are jumping in way more than me though...I feel like I want to be happy but am holding back a bit. I am trying to have faith and be hopeful - that goes up and down though!

Thanks, petit!

ann_of_loxley I hope we can both relax!

I got a fairly dark positive at 10DPO and just got a "Pregnant" on a digital this morning :

I think it will sink in a lot more when I actually miss a period (due Tuesday or Wednesday).

PS Don't you just love it when the digital tests come up positive? They're so unequivocal about it!

I oopsed my way into this ddc. Surprise! But then, DH and I seem to be overly fertile if we're not super careful.

Thanks, WeasleyMum! Yes, the digitals make me happy when they so proudly announce "pregnant"! They can be terribly rude too though

Yes, this is me - super hopeful and excited but then worried and impatient for a few more days to go by and for a darker line on a test! Maybe I need to pick up a few digital tests for later this week...

Sticky vibes to all!

Hi Carmen,

What are you treating with acupuncture. My best friend just started her treatments for interstitial cystitis and she can already tell a difference. I also had two miscarriages last year, and I hope that we have happy healthy babies in January!

Congrats, Kathy!! :

I'm going to a wellness centre that specializes in acupuncture and TCM for fertility. I have never been diagnosed with anything specific in western medicine but I did have 2 m/c and wanted to increase my chances of conceiving again and carrying to full term. I noticed a difference in my cycles almost immediately with a longer LP and better temp shifts after O. And I had pretty regular and "good" cycles before that! Now I'm just continuing to keep me relaxed, not stressed and to keep hormones and circulation balanced. I'm going to continue weekly appointments for the first trimester then unless something comes up that needs attention I will go back at 38wks to start preparing for birth.

That's so fantastic. If I lived in a larger city (boy, I miss Houston), I would try this avenue, because, of course, I do worry about carrying to term.

What I can do now, and have been enjoying, is just allowing myself to be happy about it, because it is so exciting. : I think spring is helping my mood as well. It was a long hard winter and spring is so lovely.
