Anyone used One-size diapers on newborns?

How do One-Size diapers fit on newborns? Is it too big or bulky for newborns? Or were you happy with the fit on newborn?

We have some of the BG AIO organic one-size that fit dd once she hit about 8 lbs (so about 4 weeks).

We started using the BG one size organic (with snaps) at about 9 week. She was just about 10 pounds (6.5 at birth). They fit well .

Our son was 8lbs 6 oz at birth and we were able to use the OS right away.

I was happy with the os mutts on my newborns.

My boys had long skinny legs and we used ME OS. I found them too bulky until they hit 10lbs or so, but after that they were fine.

DD was just under a week old when I put a BG one size on her. It fit her pretty well at just over 7 lbs. She's now around 11 lbs. (8 weeks) and they fit her great.

I've not tried them (don't have a nb yet ) but I got some SoftBums PerfectFit and they get teeny tiny. Just as small as KL0's for sure. I HAVE to imagine that they would fit a nb well. The elastic around the thighs adjusts, so I'd think they would have to work well, even on teeny skinny legs.

based on my previous pregnancies i'm expecting this one to be 9 pounds or so....

DS was 10+lbs. and about 23" long at birth and the BG 3.0's were a TINY bit bulky on him....so I really can't imagine that they would fit a newborn that was too much smaller than that very well.

None of our one-size diapers (BG 2.0, old-style Wonderoos, Motherease fitteds) fit my kids well until they were about 10-12 pounds. For my DD1, that meant they were fitting well within a month or so, since she chunked up quickly, but my twins started smaller and grew at a slower rate, so that they were close to four months before anything one-size really fit.
