I don't even know what else to call this! It feels like baby is trying to dig his way out and it HURTS!

Anyone else?

YES!!! it hurts very badly she must be putting some kind of wierd pressure on me down there cause it hurts to get up after i've been sitting and it hurts to roll over in bed, i have to limp when i walk only about 4 weeks left i keep telling myself

I feel like this comes and goes for me. Some days it's worse than others... most of the time I feel a pressure down there. Sometimes there is a sharp pain though, like a pushing/pinching feeling. I'd say this happens several times a day.

I'll join! I have a variety of membership qualifications:
  • sharp pains like baby is trying to claw through cervix
  • symphysys pubis shifting pains
  • weird uppermost thigh spasms (?) probably muscles trying to hold my pubic symphysys together!

I'll join. Feels like my pelvis is being ripped in half.

This baby is trying to kill me. LOL

I'm beginning to think this pregnancy is my physical payback for saying stuff like "I don't know what other women complain about in pregnancy. This is easy." with DS1. I'm convinced that DS2's was payback for saying things like "I think pregnancy mood-swings are a big cop out." :

Oooh, last night my little guy was doing this to me. It seriously felt like he was trying to claw a hole in the water bag, right over my cervix. I involuntarily tensed up, but then I had to remind myself, "Hey, I'm 39 weeks, if he wants to poke a hole in the water bag that would actually be a *good* thing!"

Ok, glad to know I'm not alone, lol.

It eased up a bit now, but this morning was seriously painful! I don't remember DD doing this, but then again, I never really dropped with her. This time, this kid keeps getting lower and lower every day, which I guess if a good thing, except when trying to walk more than 10 feet without waddling.

Went for a car ride with DH this morning. We had to go over a speed bump (very slowly, I might add) and the baby's so low that it hurt... to go over a speed bump! *mind boggled*

Part of the day for me will be fine then other times its like I can't even get up from a chair without feeling like I've been drop kicked in the crotch.
Sucks majorly!

Oh, yes to the thigh spasms! It's been awful the past few days, especially at night. I'll try to walk up the stairs and it does feel like I'm having spasms in the upper part of my thighs. My hips are also especially bothersome.

I don't have any pains in my crotch, but I certainlly have those upper thigh pains/spasms.

The thigh spasms are weird, aren't they? I can't quite figure out what it is, because it does not feel like a typical spasm - it leaves no residual soreness. But it ACTS like a spasm, coming on fast and ending mysteriously. But also not like a spasm in that I can't make it stop with an opposing action. I'm an RMT so I am driven to analyze this to bits and cannot figure out exactly what it is!

Upper thigh spasms and crotch pain...
I'll join the club allright.

I'm in this very uncomfortable cycle right now where I think my bladder is cushioning the baby's head. So when my bladder is full, my cervix isn't that sore, but I have to pee every hour. Then as soon as I empty the bladder, I can feel the baby's head dropping a bit and suddenly the cervix gets sore. Either way isn't very comfortable -- and both are worse when I'm trying to walk anywhere so I'm seriously becoming a couch potato!

I don't really get any cervix kicks just the intense pelvic pain. I'm looking forward to being able to get up and roll over without feeling like I've been kicked in the crotch repeatedly with one of DH's steel toed work boots.

If this baby gets any lower, he/she is going to fall out! It seems like everyday I'm telling DH that the baby is EVEN LOWER. How can this continue? I have to pee 5 minutes after I pee. I'm feeling tons of pressure on my pelvic bones (can't remember what those are called - the ones barely holding the baby in). And I was going to say that the baby is punching me in the cervix, but "clawing" does seem to describe it better. Sometimes it's painful when the baby moves in general, not just against my cervix. We seem to make freakishly strong babies, so I guess that's to be expected.

I'll join the crotch pain club! I've got awful pubis symphysis pain on the right hand side of my groin - I can't even lift my right leg to get dressed in the morning, but have to yank it up with my hand.

And the clawing - I get that too. The other night it felt like the little tyke was scratching my clitoris from the INSIDE. Super sensitive and very, very painful.

Sorry but this made me .
DS1 was freakishly strong. He was so strong, in fact, that he had the nickname "Bam bam" until he was like 4. He used to pick up big, heavy (steel) waiting room chairs and carry them around when he was about 2 years old and would drag my bed around my bedroom.
