Oh and 46 cents from ad revenue.
I just wanted to post a thread for any mommas thinking about freelancing and feeling like they don't know where to start or wondering if it's just too good to be true.
I literally up and started freelancing two weeks ago. I had no prior experience aside from fiction writing, had never written for the web aside from blogging and yet I have made $200.46 right out of the gate. I am also in negotiations with my first private client simply because I responded to a message board post (not Mothering). I won't lie, there are no guarantees I'll always earn like this and it is ALOT of work and the learning curve is overwhelming at times, BUT IT CAN BE DONE.
I am of the thinking that it is worth trying because mommas literally have nothing to lose but some time.
If you've been sitting on the fence waffling, just do it. If you lack confidence, start with ehow or AC and then apply for jobs that pay upfront.
