Oxiclean Alternative?

My understanding is that the main stain and stink fighting ingredient for Oxiclean is hydrogen peroxide. I've even heard at could be good after babies have been sick or had a yeast infection.

So since my family is living VERY frugally at the moment--has anyone ever heard of adding just plain old cheap hydrogen peroxide to a load of cloth diapers with any success? If so--how much?
