Eyesight anyone?

On weekends I usually wander around the house without contacts or glasses on, unless we're going somewhere. I have to say I've noticed a definite decline in my eyesight since being pregnant. Not sure exactly when I noticed it but dh is watching basketball and I can't make out the score. Used to be a little bit blurry before, but readable, not so much now.

I think I've read that pregnancy can throw your eyesight off because of muscles relaxing, etc. Anyone else notice this and did things return to "normal" afterwards? I haven't bothered to make an appointment with my eye doc because I'm hoping it's just temporary.

My vision changes during pregnancy and those changes have been permanent. I'm going to end up going in after giving birth and getting a new prescription like I did with DS. With my last pregnancy I had no problem wearing contacts the entire time, but this time they've been really uncomfortable and I haven't worn them since 20 weeks or so. I'm near-sighted but I've noticed that with each pregnancy I have problems reading things up close.

Hmmm... I had the exact opposite happen. I'm very nearsighted, and normally can't make out the bedroom alarm clock at all without my glasses. I've noticed that with both pregnancies, I can read the digital clock across the room (blurry, but readable). Unfortunately, my eyesight goes back to ultra-nearsighted again after having the baby.

I think my contact prescription changed after my last baby. I remember the eye doc saying that was normal. I did notice a change in my eyesight somewhere in teh middle of the pregnancy but I didn't go in for my eye exam until after the baby was born and they just adjusted my prescription then. My feet also grew too
