The Mother of All Rallies
International Midwives Day - May 5th
at the Statehouse
This year, legislation will be introduced to provide a pathway so that Certified Professional Midwives can be licensed in our great state.
this is our opportunity...
We need to show legislators that we represent every part of the state:
north, south, central, urban, rural, middle class, working class, upper class, liberal, conservative.
You and your families effort to come to Columbus on a weekday shows them where you stand on this issue

. . .
There are two ways this effort can go...
The challenging, yet effective and victorious way...think first time mom, average course of labor with a few challenges to surmount, but nothing too serious)
OR
The brutally hard, soul-sucking, campaign that drags on for years and years (think two weeks of pre-labor followed by active labor with a posterior baby)
...Which do you prefer? Having experienced posterior labor...I know which one I would choose!!!
How does this translate into our legislative campaign?
In either scenario, you end up with a healthy baby and mom. The same can be said of our legislative campaign...no matter what happens we will in the end, be victorious. The question is, after how much time?
the details...
