Envy-Who else is still waiting?

I envy everyone and the babies. I'm still here, waiting..... Due date is tomorrow. MY first two were a week early so this making to the due date is new and frustrating!

Who is still waiting?

Heh - I'm now at 41 weeks, 3 days. My first was born on her due date. Not sure what else to say.

Heh.

Still here. My due date is Wednesday, as in 2 days from now. My 1st was born at 36 + 6, so I've been in uncharted territory for weeks now. It's very frustrating. Everyday I just feel fine. No great bursts of energy, no horrible feeling like crud. Just boringly normal.

And, there's absolutely nothing going on down there. No contrax, no dilation, no dropping of the baby, nothing.

And, so we wait....

I'm still here. 40+2 today. This is my first baby so I have no comparison. I do know that I'd like to be done.

No baby here yet... 40w2d and would love to meet my lil' bean! Last night I dreamed that I had to rock climb a huge wall in 2 minutes with my 40week belly... hum, anxiety anyone?

I'm 40w+3 today, my first was born at 38+2 so also uncharted territory for me. Every evening I have lots of pressure, cramping, irregular and often painful contractions, but nothing remotely resembling labor.

I have very mild, diet-controlled gestational diabetes (actually I think if I retested now I'd come up negative anyway, my blood-sugar has really normalized). The medical co-care people are hot for me to have an induction on Wednesday. I'm not doing it, and planning a HB, which I can't officially tell them about, but it still ramps up the pressure on me for being so "late".

I have a NST scheduled for tomorrow and I am considering canceling, not sure I want to be at the hospital under all that pressure from the staff to get that baby out of there. (I want it born as much as the next person but I feel confident that my body will do what it is supposed to).

Anyway- to encourage those of you without any "signs"... with my first I had a routine appt on the afternoon before he was born. I was not dilated at ALL, and was having mild regular contractions that started seriously while I was in the waiting room. I had him 12 hours later (vaginal, totally intervention-free birth). So, I know from experience it can all happen fast when it does happen, but it doesn't make the waiting around any easier for me either.

I'm due tomorrow (4/28) and a little anxious... even though DS was 15 days past due. This baby is already as big as he was when he was born. I'm just very tired and have to turn over like every 2 hours at night cause whatever hip I was sleeping on is so sore. But I've been saying it'll be May... so just trying to pace myself.

Here, too. I am 40w2d...had ds at 42w. went into labor at 41w5d.

I'd love to feel a twinge...or something a little stronger than a twinge.

hang in there mamas! It's sooo hard (dd was 41+3), especially @ the end of the month when it seems like everyone in the ddc has already had their babies

So proud of you all for trusting your baby & your body to know when the time is right

I'm still here and reading everyone's birth stories nightly! DS was 40+6, so maybe my little ones just need longer to cook. I'm 40+4 today and going a little crazy. Glad to have some company!
