How does your practice schedule the final weekly appointments? - Page 2

You can do it either way with my midwife group. Trying to schedule too far out may result in them calling and asking you to reschedule though because the midwives don't always get their work schedule finalized until 2-3 weeks in advance.

Well, I would love to just let it go and not schedule more. I really would...and I was considering it...but I've had a headache for about four days now and it's concerning me. It DOES go away with Tylenol, though so I'm trying to blow it off as allergies since DH's are killing him right now. Even so...I'm not real comfy with the headache considering the BP going up and down.

SO I called in hopes of getting the regular receptionist (who I adore). I did, thankfully. I explained that I was told to call yesterday to make my prenatal and was told there were none this week so should we go ahead and set up my appointments until my due date She said yes, let's AND got them done quickly and at times that I love (first thing in the day) even though I told her basically any day or time was fine as long as I could be here when the kids got home from school. Love her and will definitely be writing a letter of thank you and recommendation when this whole mess is over.

So I WILL have this week off, then will have one a week, early mornings up to the day of my due date. I said I HOPE I don't make it that long and she said "Now, you know we've talked about this!" B/c I was just telling her last week how overdue my children enjoy being.

Asher, that is great news. Yay for helpful staff! I wonder if some dr's don't realize how important that is. Or maybe it's just really hard to get helpful staff.
I don't know, it seems like the trend is for early babies around here. Maybe it'll be contagious.
