GAH! Oh, how I hate waiting!

I ordered some new dipes from loveybums on the 16th, including a custom embroidered LIO...and they STILL haven't shipped. The website says to allow up to two weeks for custom embroidery, and I *knew* that, but I don't think I really expected it to take a whole two weeks, you know?? <drums fingers> I hate waiting.

Same boat- but actual end time for my wait. So would love to know just 2 more weeks. Ordered mine feb 12th was told 6 wks 6 wks came and was emailed the order had been started now its been almost 5 wks since and no word at all as to when they'll be here.

Does this seem too long for 36 WAHM diapes?

If they say two weeks - then there are reasons two weeks is the set time frame.
If they indicate 6 weeks -- honestly expecting something at almost 5 weeks is injecting your expectations into the policies that were agreed upon when ordering.

I realize waiting stinks, I don't like it either, but in most cases WAHM diapers are well worth the wait and anticipation and most wahms are very well aware of when the order is expected and know that those receiving them are stalking the mailman right about the quoted turn around time. If at the noted time you have not received word, a simple inquiry for an update would then be in order.

And yes, 36 diapers are labor intensive. Often times you are looking at an average of 36 to 54 UNinterrupted hours for a NON embellished diapers, depending on the type of construction, not inclusive of custom fabric dying. It sounds about right.

oh, I know how much work they are! Well, I don't know, as I've never tried to make one, but I can certainly imagine

I'm just THE most impatient person on earth I'm waiting on a few shipments of different stuff right now, and I'm slowly going insane...I love it though, waiting is half the fun for me. I think it extends the excitement and thrill of getting new stuff ...

Oh, and I'm really happy now because I got notification last night that they shipped. : I've never had wool, or embroidery, or WAHM diapers before, so I'm pretty excited.

If I were waiting on 36 diapers I wouldn't mind it taking 3 months but, I'm waiting on ONE diaper cover, ONE!!!!! I was also never notified it was going to take longer then expected. I had to send an email asking about my order and then I didn't hear back for a few weeks.
