My DD was so bummed to see Allison voted off. She kept saying, "what?" "what? is she really going home?" I totally expected it to be Kris or Danny. But I agree about the sympathy votes.

Gwen Stefani was a bit funky last night. But that's why I love her. The first concert I went to when I was 15 had No Doubt as an opening act, and then I've seen them perform a couple more times over the years. I love her voice and she looks great after having the babies. That's cool that they are touring again.

I liked watching Daughtry

I still haven't tried the DVD. It has been a crazy week around here. The video on the fan site, which I found before you offered to send me the DVD, was of horrible quality. I'm still looking forward to the DVD, and not just for Kris. I loved the Rat Pack theme week.

My daughter was very bummed that Allison got voted off, and is threatening to boycott the rest of the season. I don't know that she'll follow through, but that's how I would have felt if Kris had been sent home this week.

Does anyone else think Allison's chances may have suffered because of voter demographics? I tend to think that most of the people who care enough to vote are female, and I don't think it's an accident that the top three are male.

I totally agree about Gwen Stefani!

Paula's performance made me cringe. She looked like she was pathetically trying to recapture her lost youth.

I just have to say that when people in Wisconsin get excited about someone, they get EXCITED! Danny is loved to death here and people are crazy about voting too. I just worry about what could happen with him when things settle down and he gets used to a life without his wife since she died not long before this all started.

If he does a contemporary Christian album, then us Christians will buy it!

Yeah, but he's not the one who should win. He can sing, he has natural ability, but unfortunately, he's about as exciting as watching grass grow. There is nothing that makes him POP. He'll have a career as a gospel singer or something. I just don't think he's good enough to win the whole competition.

I don't like Adam at all, but he is the whole package. He's got the edge, he's superbly talented, had loads of experience in the biz as well, and has proven that he's quite the genius musically.

Kris? I think he should be the runner up, personally. He's taken more risks and creativity then Danny has. I hope I see him at the head of a band similar to The Fray or something.

I think he will get a recording contract, I doubt he will go back to his normal life again. At least, that's what I think...
