I didn't have that problem with Allison at all.

I still don't like what Adam did with (to?) that song. To me, this genre calls for something a bit more subtle. I know Adam can do that; he did it on "Mad World."

I won't argue that someone else will or should win, but I still won't be buying Adam's CDs. I wouldn't buy a Carrie Underwood CD, either, but I'll never deny that is she is very talented.

My favorite performance was by Danny, he was right on last night. I was surprised because he is not usually one of my faves.

I liked Kris a lot too last night. He started it off well. Jamie Foxx was so blown away by him....it was interesting. Kris reminds me of Jason Myraz.

Matt who I have been rooting for this whole season, I didn't like his performance, it seemed pitchy, reaching and too low sometimes, just all over the place. I think he is going home. I completely expected Simon to say "that was a mess" and was shocked to hear him say "brilliant". I too suspect he made positive remarks to Matt to keep him, knowing that he can't beat Danny or Adam.

I am one of the few not in the Adam fan club....I didn't get last night at all. Yeah, he can sing but I guess I don't like his "artistry".

I totally agree with you. I really like Matt, but he sang weaker than the rest of them. I was very surprised when Simon praised his performance because I thought he sounded much better in front of Jamie than he did live.

I do think Adam will win, but I am not a fan either.

Kris blew me away! Again! *sigh* I am soooooooo in like with him.

Me, too, but not in a creepy, "I have crush on a guy who's young enough to be my son" sort of way. I just like his voice and his personality. See, Kris has been particularly strong for the last couple of weeks and last night I thought his performance was just overall really weak. In no way did it "blow me away" like Jamie Fox predicted. It was just luke warm.

Danny really stepped it up on the last part of his song. I've figured out what it is about him. He's one of those singers that are really great as they get to the high notes. He can belt them out like nothing. But during the beginning, slower parts, I'm bored to hell.

Alison actually did pretty well. I'm glad she brought it down a notch.

I liked Matt's performance too. I thought he was great, loved that song for him. Randy and Cara can suck it.

Adam was the same, as usual.

Yup, me too....if I ever knew about Jaime Fox being a singer too I totally forgot.

I am just not a big Kris fan...I agree that he cannot win. I do think he is trying very hard though, I give him a ton of credit to be able to hold his own for so long next to Danny and Adam.

I agree that Matt's time is up again.

Danny can be my boyfriend this year...: he really does have a very very sexy voice, and I totally love watching him dance. He just looks a little short for me, lol!

Again, I think Allison is super hot! I would love for her to win although I know she won't.

Adam is awesome, there's not much more to say.

I LOVE this genre! We listen to Singers & Standards all the time! I loved Allison....seriously that gal can sing! I also like Danny, but my favorite song was My Funny Valentine, only because I that song!!!!

Ok, I do not get the Adam love, seriously. I do not, and will sort of ticked if he wins. But then again, in the history of Idol, the winners do not usually thrive (except Kelly & Carrie), so I guess he could win! :LOL

I do not know what it is. There is something about his presence that bugs me. Perhaps because he is so theatrical, I do see anything authentic & sincere. I do not see passion from him when he performs, just a song & a show with loads of smoke & mirrors.

I've never heard him hit a bad note or pitch and the things he can do with his voice are CRAZY!!!! Last night, on the second to last note that he held for a long time and then came down the scale out of instead of just abruptly ending...I stood up and practically yelled (alone in my house) "WHAT?? WHAT??? NO WAY!!" He just blows me away!!!!!! He's perfection!!! When can I buy his whole cd? I will be a fan for life no matter how bad any cd is because he could sing the phone book to the tune of Jingle Bells and I'd be happy!

I agree with everything you said

I, personally, do not think Kris is that attractive. Maybe he's too average for me He does have a decent voice, but it's nothing spectacular.

It's interesting how some people see Adam as sincere, humble, true to himself and others the exact opposite. I don't get it, either. I think during the audition process I remember thinking he was a bit extreme (hair, make-up, clothing -- just his overall style) so had I not started really paying attention to him, I would maybe be quick to assume he's fake and just playing the part he thinks people want to see... but I really think that's completely wrong! He is who he is and yes, he wants to win (who doesn't?) but to me, he is the real deal and a very talented artist.

I just wish that Adam would have given credit where credit was due..to Muse. Instead it was implied that he somehow figured out that rendition himself. And frankly...it was way way too broadway and no where as good as the Muse version. I'm still pissed about it. Muse is awesome and to not give credit is sucky. Had he given them credit I would have probably enjoyed it a bit more.

Actaully I'm still pissed Anoop was voted off.

i can't remember what season/contestant it was who was asked to place him/herself in the group they think they belong in, but i remember one time when the person refused to answer and just sat in the middle of the stage. i have a feeling it was david archuleta last season. anyway, i wish adam had done that. because i'm sure he felt like a d@mn dumb@ss and it really wasn't fair to ask that of him.
