Spacial underwear for 4yo?

My 4 yo wets her pants sometimes for a couple weeks if she has dairy. Anyone know a good WHAM that makes lined undies like two layers in the middle and a barrier.

I'm just looking for something that she wont really notice that's different and that keeps it from going through to her panties.

She is a size 6x

I've looked at HH vs. snap-ez as well. Most reviews say the HH are too poufy and they leak. the snap-ez say they aren't as absorbant. I too, am looking for a nice WAHM made overnight trainers that WORK.

Well, I've used HH pocket trainers extensively and no leaks - they ARE poofy but not so bad if you size down a bit. The WAHM ones I got off ebay (don't know names) - I tossed - they leaked like a sieve.

MY FAVORITE Pocket trainer's though are the BumWear.......
Starbunz - leak and snaps broke - they replaced then broke again - fabric pilled after a week
Bummis trainers - work if you use a insert like a panti liner - otherwise not absorbent enough
Imse Vimse trainers - leak - not for a full pee
Blue Penguin trainers - leak - not for a full pee
Little Beetle trainers - not for a full pee - but no PUL so can add a pull on cover.
THe ones off of etsy from Alaska leak
anything with waterproof cotton leak
wool soakers work great over multilayer cotton undies

Can you tell I've spent way too much money on trainers in the past?????

I stuffed my HH with 2 prefolds and they held up! When he wasn't peeing as much at night I got away with a microfiber insert and hemp insert together - much trimmer. When my DS is sick (he's 3) he sometimes still has accidents and I put him in a HH or Bumwear or pull on snap off fitted with whisper pant or all cotton trainer with whisper pant - he won't wear his wool soakers anymore.....
The problem too is what works on one body may not work on another.......I spend days and days researching - avoided the HHs because of the poofy reviews and ended up liking those the most for when absorbency is needed.......

I'm looking more for undies with just a small area ( like maxi pad size) coverage in the crotch.

If I put her in a diaper she will pee in it fully. She is potty trained fully, just when she gets exposed to dairy she dribbles through to her pants. I just want it to stay in the underwear...but not have her wear maxi pads :P

Guess I need to learn to sew!

Thanks though ladies keep the ideas coming!!

then get the imse vimse ones...or similar! nak
Blue penguin makes a nice pair too - made in LA
etsy has some nice ones - they don't need to be bulletproof so pick some you like the look of!

I think something like these:

It seems the panties either have no leak protection OR are completely lined..I just want the crotch lined LOL...maybe if I buy some and add a note when I buy?

Can you tell I haven't been in the diaper arena for a while.

I just saw these and wondered if they might be worth looking at.

Thanks! Thats kinda it...hopefully I can be quick enough to get a spot at one of these places so I can ask if I can get a water proof layer inside the soaker area...

Otherwise I'm going to have to learn to sew

What about sewing a contour pad into current undies - a contour pad or pad doubler like used in gladrags.......or sew your own - but if you just bought those or folded and sewed in a flannel wipe it wouldn't be hard to do and she could keep her current undies......The previous 2 undies looked good though - sorry I didn't catch what you wanted exactly in my previous posts!
OR use cloth pads that snap into her undies - there are a tone of great wham ones - luna pads makes them for teens and they are smaller and super cute! I'm using wahm ones for pregnancy pees! http://www.lunapads.com/product.aspx...=14&deptid=35&
they might be to big but you get the idea.....just throwing out other ideas - I know you were looking for something she won't notice but maybe if she chose the patterns - unless you don't want her to know about the need for padding....I'm rambling

I think Ive found a mama to sew the pad into the panties..I tired to myself with fleece and old tee shirts but my two year old throws a tantrum and climbs on me when I try so that's out for now LOL.

I'll ask my ODD what she wants I'm trying really hard not to make this a big issue but it is really frustrating. She completely wet herself the other day ( not normal) and didn't even change her pants just sat it it..wasn't till we got into the car and I went to snap her into the car did I notice ( I have a cold so I cant smell) and its was old pee.

Anyway I'm not sure how to handle this but I'm sure that's another board.

Thanks for this review. It was very helpful. I don't like the poofy HH. I think I am going to try the StarBunz because they LOOK the most like real underwear. I hope I have a better experience with them. I am also going to try the BumWare since you like the so much. Are they poofy?
BumWear are not poofy! Expect a little extra room because you stuff them but they are the trimmest while retaining stuffing power that I've found!

Starbunz did have some "bad" batches - I think I got them all so maybe you'll have better luck! I really wanted to love them because they were so trim and cute but the fit was funky and they just didn't hold up! They also leaked at night - couldn't fit enough in the pocket.....for a super soaker - worked great during day when he would tell me "mom I peed!" so a quick change.
