I keep reading that people will be "using 'sposies until there's no more mec".
Have people *not* done that successfully?
Once upon a time I heard that mec washes out just as easy as breastmilk poo... I've also heard that it just rolls of some washable diapers...
What about flushable liners? Is there any reason why flushable liners wouldn't work just as easily with mec?
The diaper system I bought is AppleCheeks - they can be used as pockets (with microfleece on top) or as AI2s with my hemp flats... not sure if what's getting the mec on it will make a difference but things tend to roll off of microfleece better... no?
Having worked in the past as a midwife I've had my fair share of dealings with meconium (to say the least)... and I'm not all that intimidated by it... except of course if it somehow wrecks my diapers!
Hands up if you've used cloth through the mec period!
