Emily has been rolling from her back to her side, but she only seems to do it when she's mad.:LOL

She's such a sweet baby. She's been laughing a lot lately.

And we talked to the surgeon, who says she will likely be able to have the surgery around 8-9 months.

And I ordered a hands free pumping bra, so I can do multiple things at one time!

Oh Christy, she's such a doll! I'd post some pictures, but dh "improved" my computer again and half my stuff is missing. He hasn't reloaded my pics yet. I wish he'd just leave things alone. Not everyone wants the "latest and greatest", some of us are happy with the old stuff that works!

ITA!!! DP wants to re-install windows just b/c a certain racing game that he plays makes a crackling noise when he revs the engine of his car...:

Thanks for recognizing how wonderfully cute my DD is, LOL!!!

Sage has been laughing, and she found her feet!! She just holds them in the air and stares at them. I took her hand and touched it to her foot, and she smiled, lol.

gotta go, she's calling for the boob,

talk about a mega nap! Jessica went down for a nap around 10:30 or 10:45 this morning. It is almost 3:30 - she's still sleeping oops, I spoke too soon, she just started making noise. I'll bet she's hungry!

sagewinna~ Iris is a cutie! I have my 2 yo on my lap right now (typing is almost impossible at this point) and when she saw the picture, she yells "Oh, that's a cute baby! That's Jessica" At this point all pictures of babies are Jessica, I can't convince her otherwise.

Tammi~ Dani and I had an argument over Angelica. Again, she insists that it's Jessica

Oh, our babes are growing so fast (sigh)

we have such cute babies and they are definately good eaters, lol. My DD's thighs are sooo chunky, LOL. Her ped said she was a "healthy chubby baby...so don't stop bf'ing her." LOL.

Tammi~~is that a christening dress that Angelica is wearing? it sure is pretty. and did you make it?

My grandmother bought a really cute purple and chiffon easter dress for Sage...I can't wait for easter so she can wear it. it is soooo cute! Who knew having girls could be this much fun, LOL! I can't beleive i ever wanted a boy!! haha!!

What beautiful babies!

Ds is just about 5 months old now. *sigh* Where does the time go? He is such a doll. He had RSV last month and was so very sick. He is all better now thankfully. Before he got sick he would nurse to sleep and be down at 8:30 and then sleep until 4 am and then go right back out till 7 or so. When he was sick he didn't sleep at all and now he wakes to nurse every 2 hours. He nurses every 2-3 hours during the day as well. I am so tired! :LOL

Let's see......................he laughs when tickled, blows raspberry's, seems to be teething, rolls from tummy to back, sits a little bit before falling over, babbles up a storm. We love him to pieces!

With the teething thing, he chews on his hands and has started chewing on my nipple when he is nursing. Ouch! His little jaw is so strong. I am terrified for when he actually has teeth. :

I don't know how much he weighs, I'll have to check and report back. He is a chunky little guy though.

With my older two babies we started them on solids(that nasty rice cereal)at 4 months. Toby is still exclusively bf and I don't plan to introduce solids until he is ready. I feel bad because my older babies were still such little things when I started trying to force the cereal(on Dr.'s orders)down their throats. This waiting to intro solids is new to me, and of course I get the comments about how he NEEDS solids now. :

Gotta go, baby is ready to nurse again. :bf

dont you love those "he needs food" comments!!
I have no plans on starting solids anytime soon. Jonathan was having cereal by 3 months old but i havent even thought about it for her yet.
DS2 did try and share his french fries and kethup with her yesterday though.

T My son keeps going in my jammies drawer today and wearing my sponge bob tops. He's so cute.

Jonathan was hugging his sister yesterday just because he wanted to. I didnt ask him to. He layed with her on his kid size fold out couch and watched tv too. In the begining he would get mad if i layed her on that couch.

Just trying to keep us from falling off the second page.

Jessica is 4 months old today, I just can't believe it. She's such a happy little one, she has a special smile just for her mommy She's talking - LOUDLY - and constantly chewing on her fingers. And OMG can this kid sleep! Last night she fell asleep around 9:30 or so, and I woke her up this morning at 6:30 because I felt like I was going to explode! She ate and went back to sleep until about 9:30. This amazes me because Danielle (who will be 3 next month) still wakes up a couple times a night!

Sherri-I see you

Hi all
Hope every one is well.
Me and Jonathan are sick this week.
Angelica is doing well. drooling up a storm and eating her fingers all the time like Jessi.
I also have a finger-eater, lol. she's doing so much stuff that i just think she is the smartest baby in the world, lol.

Sage will be 3 mos old in 2 days...wow how time has flown. She's standing with some help, she watches her daddy walk around the room and follows him with her head and eyes. she loves her daddy and just lights up when he comes home from work. and she loves her (my) boobs! whenever she sees them, she smiles and reaches for them, lol. still hates the bottle, tho. I don't know what to do about that. if she cant' eat from a bottle, i can't get a job...but this ebay stuff is working out pretty well for me, so maybe i won't have to.

tammi~~hope you guys feel better soon.
Aurora~~thank you for the update! I was worried that you turned into a lurker on us!

christy~
I have read in the past that people have used sippy cups or medicine droppers instead of bottles for feedings. Maybe she'd take something like that.

Do you all know who one of mdc's newest members is?
Dr. Jay Gordon

hi.. did you ever discover the cause of this??? my dd born in nov has been doing the same thing, usually when she is fussing about what i imagine to be an upset tummy, but sometimes i dont know why.

Jessica has been doing that too, it hurts so much Usually it seems that she is just so hungry when she does this that she's ticked off that it isn't coming out fast enough for her. Sometimes I have to give her a bit from a bottle to calm her down enough before she'll nurse well.

anj~ welcome! Totally OT, I've got family in Spokane and used to go to Coeur d Alene all the time. I remember in High School we were studying something (can't for the life of me remember) and the person was from Coeur d Alene, my teacher pronounced it so funny - something like Cower dee Aleeny. He and I got into an argument about how it was pronounced :LOL Anyway, just wanted to say Hi and welcome!

just checking in. Felix is 3 months old today, weighs almost 16lbs. Doing great. Very drooly, though.

He likes to grab on to things. Usually when I change his diaper he ends up holding his clothes or the edge of the diaper in his little pincher grasp. Today he got a hold of his penis and balls and was crying but couldn't figure out how to let go. OUCH!

He's very strong. A couple of weeks ago he was in my lap, reclining against my arm. I started putting some Nutella on a crepe that was in my plate and suddenly he just sat up straight and stared at the crepe like he wanted it. He didn't want to lean back down. Kept sitting up again.

Plaid Leopard-:LOL I am cracking up about poor felix grabbing down there, poor guy!

Eve is also very into grabbing, loves to grab Dd1's hair when both are nursing(PAYBACK TIME! She-Dd1, is a very hair loving girl, and will even hold my hair for comfort if I can't nurse her.I just tell her that's how I feel... )Eve also loves to chew on fabric, any kind. And she will finish nursing and put her thumb in her mouth! We have been spending an hour or 2 outside every day lately, and Eve loves it!I'm worried about her fair skin already, but no burn yet.I'd love to find some sunscreen alternatives.Ah,she woke up...

KRS~ Dd 2 is my hair infatuated one. She's been using my hair as her "lovie" since she was born. It was so cute when she was a baby, but as she gets older (and stronger) it hurts, and isn't as cute anymore. Jessica is also into chewing on fabric and sucks her thumb, of course she'll chew on anything that gets close enough to her mouth :LOL I'm trying not to let her suck her thumb too much though because I don't want it to be a habit I have to fight later.

We've been going outside more everyday. It's almost too hot to go this week. Supposed to be above 80 all week. It gets warm when you have a kiddo strapped to your chest :LOL Add that to pushing a stroller (uphill) and that's one heck of a workout! I'll be in shape in no time!

Jessica is leaving me presents so we're off in search of a clean diaper. She always does this when I'm washing dipes.

ETA: PL~ I'm sorry, but I was laughing about poor Felix too. Poor guy! That's got to be quite a shock.
