Can't wait to see how this ends. They just arrested a mom that doesn't vaccinate for murder because her son gave the measles to a baby and she died.

A mother doesn't vax her child, he gets measles and is FINE because of his immune syster being so strong...then a girl is infected at a park and dies.

And now the cops are arresting the mother!!!

Sigh. Maybe I should skip watching that one. They seem to be on a tangent lately. I think it was SVU who did the show awhile back that freaked out on the HIV positive mom for breastfeeding.

This may belong in the vaccine forum, so I appologize. I'm watching the show right now. It started out just like the Casey Anthony story, but has now turned into a pro-vaccine psa. On the show, parents who don't vaccinate are being equated with murderers. It's disgusting. Maybe there will be a pro-vaccine choice slant to it later in the show, but so far it looks like they are on the attack. They even brought the Amish into it. Sick.

This is my 2nd favorite show, after Heroes, and I've been watching every new ep for YEARS.

Tonight I turned it off after the Amish scene. I do NOT want to hear it from one of my favorite shows. I never ever miss this show, if I can help it, so that really says how disgusted I am.

I was looking forward to watching this show - no clue it was a vax issue episode, now I wish I hadn't watched.

What is going on with all the pro vax episodes on NBC lately, last week or the one before they did one on The Practice - again where a child was killed because a someone chose not to vax.

So it turned out okay? I was just saying on the other SVU thread that I ALWAYS watch this show, without fail, but I turned it off because I was sick of hearing the obvious "if you don't vaccinate, you are a irresponsible parent" garbage. I seriously was getting mad, so I figured it wasn't worth it.

ugh... what a horrible show. Have ya'll heard the rumour that the Gates foundation has paid NBC to put 'positive messages' into their shows?

I can't help but wonder if this is one of them.

well, she got off on the charges. but the kid's grandfather came to her house, said now you've killed 2 people and put a gun in his mouth.

i used to love this show. Private Practice did the same crap. they must REALLY want to up the profits on the MMR shot.
