Thanks for checking in! I haven't been on or very active online the last few weeks! It's been a whirlwind between the birth and us moving as my dh ships out on sunday!

I ended up delivering on my birthday, April 25th. It was an amazing gift, though the actual day i couldn't figure out how it was a gift lol! I woke up with leaking water and waited for my midwives to arrive as they were my doulas and going to watch me so we knew when to leave for the hossy (6 cm) and the parent's were flying in that day. Long story short, it was the most intense and strong birth i've ever experienced and it rocked my world. After 2 hours of active labor, I realized we were not making the hospital, went and jumped on mybed and proceeded to deliver a sweet little girl in the same position as i had my last dd in 3 pushes.

Little "E" was born at 6:17 pm on the 25th of April weighing 7 lbs 8 ounces, 19" long and with a 14" head. Her parent's missed her birth, but arrived within 20 mins of her being born and i snuck away to enjoy a wonderful hot shower while mommy and baby bonded and started their nursing relationship. It was an amazing day for all of us and my midwives are my heros, as we had not prepared for a homebirth at all. E is the calmest little newborn i have ever seen and her parents are overjoyed and so in love.

I have to go find the update on you, did you deliver?
