long story hopefully short....we are tight on cash, i need more diapers and covers. dd is quickly growing out of everything at 22 mos. and is not ready to be fully potty trained...we do EC, but it's not time to graduate. i have recycled materials to use: waterproof mattress pad, towels, shirts, fleece, etc. i need a very easy pattern for pull up trainers. i need something with elastic, but i'm just learning so i'm having trouble with that too. i can't do snaps as i cannot stand my cheapo snap press i got from walmart (shouldda known better). basically i need dire help any guidance to an easy pattern for my big girl would be most appreciated. she has 14+ thighs, 19-21?" waist, 19 " rise and 32 pounds.

I was wondering could you make a diaper pattern and still have the velcro or snaps on the side, but around the top you elastic it all around to make like a pants look. That way you can still pull it up and down without unvelcroing/snapping it, and you have the option to unvelcro/unsnapping it if she does number two?
Another option was go to the thrift store buy one pull up for like .50 or dollar and use that as a pattern. I could mail you one if it would be easier.
If I find a pattern onlne I'll let ya know!
