on page two I asked the same question and Bublegirl found how to reset it. I'm SOOOO glad she did too, or who knows what a waste this cycle would have been!

Here are the reset instructions to clear all memory.

1. Remove the plastic cap from one end of a clean-unused-test-stick and snap the cap onto the other end of stick. Insert the test stick into the test stick slot of the monitor. The beveled corner on the insertion end of the stick must face in toward the monitor. THE STICK MUST SNAP INTO PLACE TO PERFORM PROPERLY. THE MONITOR SHOULD NOT BE TUNRED ON UNTIL STEP 2.

2. Press and hold the "M" button. Continue pressing the "M" button while turning the monitor on. NOTE: Do not take finger off the "M" button until these directions say to to do so in Step 5.

3. The screen will show the "remove the test stick" symbol(a flashing test stick with an arrow pointing right). Conitnue pressing "M".

4. Keep pressing the "M" button and in about 20 seconds, you will see a screen full of symbols. The screen will also display these symbols when you initially turn the montior on for the FIRST time. This indicates the memory is now cleared of all prior data.

5. Remove test stick first and then QUICKLY release your finger from the "M" button. The memory should now be cleared.

6. Your screen should display a flashing "M" and one or two dashes. If it does not, it will probably show a "1" and an "M" in a non-flashing mode. If so, you will need to repeat all steps of this process. This procedure may take several times before you successfully reset the unit to its"new" state.

7. Start using the monitor on CD 1 as per the instruction booklet.

Bless your heart. Sorry for the re-query, I should have checked. I'll keep using it this cycle and hopefully it'll be OK, then will reset it next cycle (if necessary! I hope not!!!)

I hope you won't need it next month either! To tell you the truth when I first got mine, used, I didn't know it needed to be cleared at all. And I was already mid cycle the girl that sold it to me was only a couple days off of my cycle so I continued to use it from mid cycle and it did pick up my peak and we conceived that month! So good luck to you!!

So I got a low today, and no peak but I'm taking yesterday as my peak. Which would mean I O'd on CD 23 ( I set the monitor wrong so on that it's CD 24). I'm confused because I took another OPK because I have to use them up within 30 days, so why not, and the test line is still darker than the control line!!

I can't still be Oing if the monitor says low can I? I'm so tired of having sex

Well maybe the opk caught the end of the surge. I personally think the monitor is more sensitive so I think you did O when you said you did. I think you can stop DTD now because even if you O today for some reason, the sperm will live for up to 5 days so I really think you are covered! For me I believe the CBFM way more than the OPK's cuz those never worked right for me. I used a ton of them and never got PG til I used the CBFM. So try not to worry, you're in the 2WW now!!!! Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YAY!! I agree, I bet it's way more sensitive. I have never actually used OPK before because they never made much sense to me. Just these two days are the only time I've used them. I opened them a few weeks ago and it says they have to be used within 30 days, so!! I'm just peeing on them for fun.

I want to buy some pregnancy tests to take to Santa Cruz with me, because, well, I like peeing on things. I'm not sure what kind to get because they need to be cheap. If dollar store ones are good, I'll get some before I go, or walmart, they don't have walmarts in SC so I'll get some before I go, but if I wait till I'm there I'll just get first responses...any suggestions for favorite tests>

Buble, where are you in your cycle?!

I have a ton of early tests I got off of Ebay. They say they pick up as low as 20 miu of HCG.

I am only on CD 5. Since I just bought a new monitor it will start asking me to poas tomorrow so at least I get to start that soon. lol I am hoping to not have such a long cycle this time and O around the 14th day like a normal person! lol

Wooo! So far so good - it had me at Peak Saturday and Sunday, (CD 13 & 14) and back down to High today. I felt definite O pain on Saturday night around 10-11pm, and we BD'd Sunday morning at 6ish, so hopefully we caught that little bugger on its way out...used PreSeed since my CM, while definitely EWCM, was pretty scarce. GO GO TEAM SPERMIE!!!! : (That one looks like a cheerleader egg to me.)

It's fairly normal, yes, to have a final day at High after you Peak?

Go, team go!!! Swim! Implant! Stick! ::: (Cheerleeder egg SQUAD!)

Yes it's very normal to get a high after your peaks. It's just catching the end side of the ovulation and then it should go to low again. I hope you caught the egg!!! Good luck!!!

New Here ... is there a CBEFM for June thread?

Hello all,

I am new here and looking for support with my cycle, ttc, and trying to figure out my Clearblue Fertility Monitor. This is my 3rd month using the machine and I have never gotten peak. This month (June) my normal/regular period went crazy. Normally (I've been tracking since Nov 2008) has always come on or around the 31st/1st of the month - no matter the month. Well this month, on June 2nd I started to spot. (TMI: really really light spotting - no need for pad or tampon). Thinking that this was the start of a normal period, I pressed the M button on that 1st day (June 2nd) welllll, I continued to spot through June 8th (6 days) and started what seems like a regular flow on the 9th ... I still have this flow meaning that Ive been spotting/bleeding for a solid 10 days now. I still have regular flow. Here's the confusing part, since I pressed the M button on the 2nd this is considered to be CD9. On CD6,7,8 it did not request a stick. Today, CD9, it did and it came up a high level. Also, I know we are supposed to look at the lines (I cant help myself) I noticed that the far line (estrogen line) is a bit lighter than usual and I have a very faint line of the LH area. This is exciting for me because Ive never seen any activity of a 2nd line EVER n my 3months of using this machne. The only problem" I still have a decent flow on my period!!!!! What could this mean??

Thanks in advance for your help!!

Hi everyone! I am new here. I just started my first month using the CBEFM. I am at CD11 and yesterday it showed a high fertility as well as today. I DTD today and two days ago. Does day 10 seem to early to show a high fertility? I am usually around 35 day cycle. Or is it the monitor just getting to know me? Thanks in advance!
