Stumbled upon this article. I'm not sure which I find more disturbing the Tonka trucks or the home visitations.

Wyeth Immunization Awards : Gee, thanks Wyeth! This couldn't possibly have anything to do with boosting sales, could it?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Colds don't count. I've had colds that were worse than the friggin' flu!

so they schedule special appointments to educate hesitant families on the benefits of immunizations and the risks of refusing them.
Informed consent, my foot.

I have more comments, but probably reached my quote limit.

I'm most disturbed that the office will look up immunization records at a sick visit in order to vax at that time, since they're already in the office.

I think it is terrible they are using any excuse to keep kids up to date...sick visits included. If I took my child in for a sick visit and they pushed vaccinbes on me that would really piss me off. What is more sad is that most parenst will just consent and get them done then and there while the child is ill. :

harrassment during sick visits, telemarketers convincing you to come in for your free tv (toy) and "salespeople" knocking at your door, all backed by Wyeth. Oh how lovely...

But Wyeth of course is not doing this to boost business, it's all out of the goodness of their hearts, those sweet people
