Dust Ruffle Alternative?

We just bought a twin-sized bed for DS (mattress, box spring, and frame). I don't want to put a dust ruffle over the box springs due to dog hair issues. Does anyone just cover it with a fitted sheet instead? Is there another obvious alternative I'm missing, aside from not covering it at all?

I just covered ours with a fitted sheet and it looks good.

I had originally thought about getting fabric and stapling it to the frame. That would have worked but I found a cheap sheet that coordinated with the bedding and it was an easier option.

The fitted sheet works well for us also. I use it to keep the boxsprings mostly fur free.

yup...we use a fitted sheet too. its a nice tailored look, can clean(er) alternative to the bed skirt
