Tight pants already?!

So last week was spring break, no school, no work clothes. Monday and Tuesday were warm, I wore loose skirts. Today, however, was cooler so I wore pants... Um... I wore these pants very comfortably all winter and early spring but today the waist was snug enough to leave some lines.

I'm really hoping I'm bloated because it's entirely too early for this! Anyone who's had subsequent pregnancies remember when clothes became snug? I mean, I could still wear the pants, but they did not fit normally.

P.S. I've not gained any weight

i'ts most likely bloating With my last, I couldn't wear even my jeans on my belly very quickly

I for sure popped out sooner with the second and this is my third. I do have a bloated look but have not left the house in 3 days but have not worn my regular jeans for like 5 days. Me thinks I should try them on so see how they fit.

....ummm, ya, me too.

isn't it way too early for this?

I have no idea what I'm going to wear between my normal clothes, and full-on maternity clothes....

My other two children were born July & August, so all my maternity clothes for summer are for the end of pregnancy...maybe I'll just buy some cheapo skirts, etc. at Old Navy?

what are you planning on doing? I find that don't look 'really' pregnant until month 4....before that it looks like I just ate too much...

what are you wearing?

cheers,
charlene

OMG, I'm so glad you guys mentioned this because I thought for sure that I had lost my mind. I haven't gained weight and yet my normal everyday (and I mean everyday) jeans are snug - and I just went jeans shopping this weekend and now they feel way too small! What timing. That's ok, I'm mostly kidding, but seriously. Wow.

Yeah, I had a June baby before, and we've moved twice since then...I have no idea where any of my maternity gear is!

hehe! I thought I was the only one. My pants still are pretty baggy, I'd lost weight a few months ago and never got smaller pants BUT with my belt on loosely I have been having pain in my tummy (like the pants are too tight) so I've been unbuckling and unbuttoning my pants when I'm sitting down. Sheesh! time for some elastic-waisted skirts I guess. This is #2 and I remember that the area over my uterus was sensitive with #1 but not this early on.

I tried my jeans and they still fit but are a little more snug around the waist. My problem is I lost a bunch of weight this winter and ALL my capris are way to big and will just look silly on me. I think in a couple of weeks I am going to go to motherhood or Old Navy and see what I can find. For now around the house I will just stick to my running shorts and anything else elastic I have. Not sure what I will do over the next couple of weeks when I leave the house though.

I wear alot of skirts when I'm out, and stretchy pants at home, so I shouldn't have a problem for awhile....not sure if this is a good thing, that I only wear stretchy things, lol

Another day, another scale check (same!), another pair of pants, another snugger-than-the-last-wear waistband. Oh boy.

I have a bin full of mostly professional clothes 1-2 sizes bigger in the basement. I'd lost a lot of weight a few years back and hung onto the clothes just in case. I'm going to ask DH to bring it up this weekend so I can have some more comfortable pants available. And once it's just a smidge warmer, I can wear skirts. Most my summery skirts are elastic waisted or drawstring and roomy. That should get me through the end of the school year.

As for the summer... I don't know. Some of those skirts should last for awhile but holy heck! If my gut is sticking out a little already then I'm going to show before long! I didn't really start wearing maternity clothes until July-August with my first (born about two weeks before my EDD) but that was 8 years ago and I gave all my clothes away! I didn't think I'd ever get pregnant again.

I am feeling a little bloated - pants are definitely tighter, but nothing dramatic yet...

Me too!

I wore my jeans a few days back and decided it is the last time I subject myself to them for a while!
My belly is definitely beginning to look round.
Gotta say, I kind of love it! Like I can finally enjoy have a round, pouchy belly! And it's my own little secret for now.

it takes about five minutes to look pregnant when you've already been pregnant before. this is my fifth pregnancy, so i expect to break out the transition clothes soon. early on, it's mostly bloating, but that baby pops out before long, too.
