Please becareful with your indoor kitties!

The other day my little Lexie fell out the window! The screen fell out she must have pushed it extra hard while stretching! She is my scardy cat I felt like my child fell! I ran out side and got her she had NEVER EVER been outside the house except being held in my arms to go to the vet! I just want to warn people to be extra careful I also do check the screens as soon as I open them always have seeing as i have bigger kitties and the odd thing is she is my smallest cat I ever have had! only about ten pounds at most (and I am giving her credit there) she was so scared she nuzzled her little face in my neck when I scooped her up and now when she sees me she runs over to me and purrs and rubs on me.

Please tripple check all your open windows I double checked mine and it still happened! My hormonal self started bawling because I kept thinking what if we weren't home ohhh my goodness I cannot think about that right now she is my little baby.

Many hugs mama's

thankfully she was alright and thank you for sharing

I also want to add the fact that cord blinds are very dangerous for children AND pets. My cat somehow got tangled up in the cord blinds and was hung to death when I was 7 months pregnant

I don't mean to hijack your thread in any way but it does give me an opportunity to share my tragedy and hopefully prevent others

I am so sorry mama!! that brought tears to my eyes I cannot imagine what you went through I lost my pup when I was 8 months along with Ds and I was a basket case!

I have heard that about cats! I wrapped the cords up when Ds was a baby and never undid them

Thank you for shareing that information for others who may not know that

Maybe others can share other safty tips that most people do not know about? Cats are tricky you have to kitty proof your house for them
