reaction?

Can vaccines cause increased bowel movements? Not diarehha, just going from 1 time a day to 2-4 times a day. He had his 3 weeks ago (2 shots, and rotovirus), and he seems to go to the bathroom more, but this could be from other things, I just wanted to check, and make sure it couldnt be a reaction. Thanks! (he is 6 months)

I would think it would be possible. However, both of my girls had multiple bm/day...one was vaxed, one wasn't. Both were breastfed, which is what I always attributed the frequent bm's to.

But if this is a sudden increase, it may be a reaction to the roto vaccine.

Yeah, I was thinking a reaction to Roto also, if it is. Have their been any diet changes in the same time period?

He has been getting a new food every few days. We started solids at 5 months (he was showig all the signs of being ready). I have the feeling the fruit and veggies are just making him more regular, but I wanted to make sure it wasnt an alarm for concern. He'd been on new foods before this, and hadnt had as much of a problem. He also is teething bad, and I have found info that sometimes teething can cause loose bowels. (his arent loose, just looser for him.) I think I'll skip the third rotovirus incase, just incase. That isnt as prevelent in summer, right? Usually a fever is a sign with other vaccines, correct? Thankfully we havent had that, so I think he's okay. Anyway, thanks ladies, I knew I came to the right place.
