Now I'm attached!
I thought about joining June too, but... same problem!

I'm pretty hopeful that this baby will be a true May baby though. Nothing wrong with a little optimism!

Due May 21 here.

I'm expecting to go a week early, but I think that's only due to seeing all these new May bubs popping up each day. In reality, I'll probably go a week over. But I *really* want to just go in May and not June.

May 24 here. I'm just hoping that I'll actually have a May baby. I've started noticing more BH contractions and feeling a little more cervical pressure if I'm on my feet for a long time, so I'm hoping that's a sign she'll come some time in the next month! My mw doesn't do cervical exams unless I ask, and so far I haven't. I was measuring 38 weeks yesterday (and I'm only 36.5) but I doubt that means anything.

May 25th here. I still feel like I have so much to do and I'm not too uncomfortable (thanks in large part to my chiropractor) so I'm fine with going another month.

May 24th.
I sure hope I don't make it there... or I will go insane! But realistically, I might very well go to June

Hello it's May and I am due this month!!!!

It's really nice to be able to say say that!
Also it makes me feel good to see so many other late May mama's in this DDC, I was starting to feel like everyone was going to go early!

Official EDD is May 26 for me! Calculating using Nagle's (I think?) method it's May 29th. I went right on my date by that method (a week and a day over by usual method) with DS, so I'm sort of expecting that's around when I'll go this time...but who knows!?!?

I could not agree with you more! I can't wait for the next time someone asks me when I am due so I can say "THIS MONTH!!"

Yaaae! I feel better seeing all you ladies due the end of the month too. It's going to be really exciting when we start seeing each other go now that we have a good idea who's due at the end. I'm not ready to have the baby until after may 14(when my midwife gets back!), but I'm kind of hoping to not go too late either. Especially with moving across the country booked for the end of June!

EDD May 23rd here. Feeling mighty impatient though - that seems a loooooooooooooong way away!

I'm due late in May also, feeling very strange about all these May babies showing up and be being term technically now. Everything is ready pretty much but I don't feel like I'm about to have a baby. What are we going to do until our turns come? Anytime in the next 6 weeks is cool with my midwife (her own babes cook on the long side so she holds the due window out til 43 weeks).

Well if my body is any indication this LO isn't coming anytime soon...
TMI, DH and I finally dtd after me not being interested for the past 3 weeks and nothing! Not a single cramp afterward no bh nada. No spotting etc...

Im trying to resign myself to the fact that it will be late May for me. I even had DH try to check my cervix because I just can't reach it and beside the fact that he had no idea what he was looking for he said he didn't feel a single thing.

Late May here we go

I'm due May 23rd. How unwilling am I to go that long? I scheduled my ds and dd#1's joint birthday party for May 23rd.

My mom arrives Friday the 15th, and I'll have an amniotomy the following week if I don't go naturally. My mw gave me an amniotomy with dd#1, and she was born 5 hours later, so that was just all kinds of awesome.

Disclaimer: medical interventions such as amniotomy increase your risk of ending up with a C-section. If you have not had two five-hour labors, do not be all cavalier about induction like I am!

May 25th! though I was told today that I am measuring at 40 weeks...so I don't know...

I was due the 22nd, but River came this morning...I was hoping for another week at least, but thus far he is perfect. He came the day after I was allowed off bedrest.

Our little one is estimated to arrive the last week of May. My intuition has been pointing to June 4th as the actual day she'll come, but I'm hoping I'm wrong on that. With my husband's research schedule this summer, it would be really nice if she were born between 38 and 39 weeks instead of 40-41.

Holy moly! I'm due 7 days after you were and I can't imagine this kid showing up right now! YIKES! Congratulations--you're sure to be the envy of us late May gals in another week or two

Cinder: congratulations on the arrival of River!! It sounds like he knew exactly when it was time to be born

On the other hand, the fact that you were a 'late May gal' and are now holding your baby scares me just a bit! I actually feel good right now, the baby has dropped(a couple weeks ago now), and I can eat and breathe. I have no pains or discomfort other than some nerve pain in my groin now and again. I have more cleaning/purging/packing to do and diapers to sew. I want to have that feeling like everything is done and I'm just waiting.

It seems like we're about half and half with some of us wanting an earlier baby and some of us so not ready yet!
