I had to check in on you mamas still waiting! I hope all is going well. A note on castor oil, I did drink it the day I went into labor, but am not sure I'd recommend it. I wound up with a placental abruption and a good deal of bleeding, which the midwife and nurse thought were not related to the castor oil, but that could have potentially been the irritant. I only took 1 ounce of castor oil, my mw generally says to take 2 ounces, but who knows. I'd say check in with your provider first and proceed with caution.

She's coping... I'll try to show her off at the LLL meeting on Tuesday. Still have to see yours too
It was mainly the 48 hours hospital/NICU stay that was very hard on her. DH is fantastic. He has been going like mad keeping the house up and keeping DD1 from being bored, taking her to activities and the park.

Congrats to all the new mamas on here! I haven't been on in a couple of days but I am so excited to see some of you ladies finally have your LOs!

How many of us are still here? I refuse to go to the June DDC at this point even though it is clearly June..

Had another NST on Tuesday and I was having very regular early labor like ctx during the 3 hours I again was on the monitor. Came home and had decently strong contractions all night and yesterday was losing lots and lots of mucus plug. Went out to lunch and then spent the rest of the afternoon evening dashing to the bathroom to clean out I am pretty sure my entire length of intestines. Unfortuantely ctx have totally petered out to irregular and weak nothingness. Sigh, another NST scheduled for tomorrow when I will be officially a week overdue.

Goodluck to whoever is left. DH and I are seriously just sitting around waiting at this point, I don't have the energy for walking dtd etc since I am not really sleeping at all anymore... Maybe in another couple days I'll have my own birth story to finally post

I'm 41 weeks today, but I still have the energy to do stuff thank goodness. I took myself out to lunch today for what I am positive will be the last time. So it was just me and a book. I also went for dessert! Then I came home and did more laundry and filled out and mailed DD's birthday invitations. If I go to 42 weeks, this baby will be 3 days old on the day of her party. I am a masochist!

Yup- still here- 12 days past. I'm going to have my midwife come over and check me today (first time) and see if my body is even working at this point (which she swears it is- I'm just not so sure!). I may have my membranes stripped, it will just depend on my dialation. I was really hoping to not do anything, but I am having such terrible rib pain that I really don't thinkI can take it any more. Best wishes to all of you still waiting as well!
