Inositol, 5-HTP and GABA should I take a day?

I'm battling moderate to severe depression and anxiety...

I am taking 2 50mg tabs of 5-htp each morning. I am also taking my placenta pills. All this with therapy e/o week. It seems to be working...I don't hate my family anymore!

I started off with pretty severe depression and anxiety and began with 1tbsp inositol and 2 100mg 5HTP a day. I would take a GABA (500mg) whenever i would experience a panic attack. Some women take 4 tbsp of the Inositol but i haven't been able to afford big enough quantities to take this much plus it took my stomach a little while to acclimate to it. I am about 1 1/2 months into my regime and am going to go down to 2 50mg 5 HTP a day because i am getting a slight headache which can be a sign you are getting enough of it. I feel so,so, so much better. Not one panic attack in a month which is down from several a day. Every day is pretty even and joyful as opposed to dreading each and every day. I also took a mixture of tinctures recommended by my midwife 3 x's a day in tea. It is Passionflower, Motherwort, Oats and Blue Vervain. Motherwort is extradorinary for anxiety. I did not find it necessary to take anything before bed but most women will take a GABA before bed. Hope that helps.

Sorry Sattygirl, I've been sick from PG and sleeping to try and not feel sick...

I take inositol and choline by source naturals, you can get it at vitacost for like $7, I take one per day.

There are a lot of other things that you can be taking that will also help with you symptoms, read my story, my cure from my signature, it has the list of vitamins I take everyday to keep me feeling great.
