this might be a silly question, sorry if it is.
i am definitely using only cloth diapers. i really would rather disposables never got near my baby. I am giving birth in a birth center, and i am due in september, so it's not close enough for me to ask all the little details of the center....but....
what if i don't want them to put a diaper on my baby, is it silly to bring cloth new born diapers or prefolds or a variety (cause who knows how big baby will be) so that the first time they even have a diaper it's cloth? has anyone done this?

No one batted an eye lol! In fact, the night nurse was happy as it made her job easier - you know how they make sure baby is having wet diapers etc. Pretty easy to tell in cloth
