Some Acronym Help, please.

Hi Lovely Ladies,

I am new to this online postings, especially here on mothering. Could someone fill me on the acronyms used here. dd, ds, ? and many more I can't remember now.

Oh, there are so many! You will get the hang of it soon enough. There are some I have to read over to try and figure out.

dd--dear daughter
ds--dear son
dh--dear husband

some of these totally throw me for a loop. here's a few more:

LO= loved one
DP= dear partner
mw or m/w= midwife
ms or m/s= morning sickness

can't think of any others that might be thrown around a pregnancy board at the moment!

I always read LO as Little One
