we're planning a homebirth w/a mw, but due to my history of fast labor, we're expecting an unintentional uc.

Not really,
Cause I LOVE my midwife and she'll be here,
but she normally sits peacefully in corner and let's me do my thing.
I was so grateful for her awesome suturing techniques last birth,
for I needed 21 stitches.
Her and her apprentice also cleaned up the whole house while my family stayed in bed, cooing and breastfeeding.
It was incredible!!

I never got checked for dilation, or touched, or worried about, so
I felt like I could do my own thing. IT was super nice, but I really loved
having my midwife and my family there.

We'll see this time, I really want to go in a room by myself for a while and belly dance I'm dreamin that right now

Don't do much Prenatals but LOVE hanging out and chatting with my midwife

YEP! I have already had 2 UPs and 1 UC. I had to go to the hospital for pre e last time.

Several of you mentioned that...if you are interested in UC/UP they sell test strips. My DH MONITORS me closer than ANY doctor would. He's not messing around.

Someone else mentioned CPS. We were foster parents for a while and told them that we did UC and they have NOTHING against that. Taking care into your own hands is completely legal.

I'm going to start a thread on Pre-e. Would those of you who have had that join me in discussing it?
