EBF poo & Cloth Dipes

Ummmm...so I know this may be a dumb question, but I am really kinda clueless about this topic.

I didn't start CDing DS until he was eating some solid food and he no longer had that breastmilk only poo.

I am planning to CD the new baby from the beginning, but I am wondering what I need to do with the poop. I mean, it obviously isn't solid enough to dump into the toilet. Do I need to dunk the dipe into the toilet to rinse it before putting it in the diaper pail? Do I need to invest in a sprayer? Or do most people use flushable liners?

So how exactly do you handle newborn poop with cloth dipes?

Honestly? I just tossed it all in the wash. At least until solids where introduced

Yep, if baby is exclusively breastfed you don't need to do anything with the poop. I just tossed the diaper in the diaper pail as is. Then when it's time to wash, I put it through a rinse cycle first just so I'm not washing in poopy water.

Another vote for you don't have to do anything at all. It'll just wash right out. Even for a baby on formula only, this is true. That's not to say you won't sometimes have stains, though, but that's nothing to worry about-- they don't mean the diapers aren't clean, they're just stains. And they'll fade with repeated washings.
