Ok so I am trying to crochet baby things for my new addition due this summer and came across this e-book of patterns that seemed really great and at only 7.50 I couldn't resist....I downloaded it and tried to start one and am sooooo confused! It seems to leave out alot of really important info...or maybe I am just a dunce and dont get it....Please HELP ME!

It is copywritten so I dont think I can share the whole thing...if anyone knows how that works I would love to know cause if i get it figured out I will share if possible....anyways I will post a few lines..

ROW 1: BEG: CH 32(46)
ROW 2: DC5(7); DC in same ST, DC6(9), DC in same ST, DC10(14), DC in same ST, DC6(9), DC in same ST, DC5(7)

ok so I know the parenthesis are for variations...but what it doesnt say is where to put the 5dc (at least I am assuming that dc5 means 5 double crochets)

Any translations? Anyone

ur right that is odd usually it would tell you to skip 1 or two and DC into the third since you're begning with a double......

guess if it dosent ask you to do that just chain into the the first stitch you can.
your second row of stitches add up to 32 so i suppose thats what they want.

what are you making?
